Leas Cemetery is located in the SW 1/4 of Section 36 in Pleasant Township of Union County.  The cemetery is said to have once covered the hillside but this is not apparent now.  Grant leas came back during the 1940s and built the fence around his family' plot, where is now buried. No evidence of other burials remain today.  Historic notes and obituaries refer to the burial place as a family cmetery.  The 1981 History of Union County refers to the Leas Cemetery as being at the site of the early platted villate of Bismark.
