Old Jerusalem Cemetery is located in the SE 1/4 of Section 16 in Lincoln Township of Union County.      

 

On 23 October 1880, James and his wife Bridget Galvin deeded for $50 one acre of land in Lincoln Township who had to agree to build on or before 01 March 1881 and keep in repair around the land a good legal fence.  In 1893, Susan M McGinnis and husband William E, of Yuma County, Colorado, deeded to the Trustees of Lincoln Center Methodist one acre of land to be used for a church near the cemetery.
